History
Verticalrooms is our sister studio to our label Verticalrecordings and is double control room music production facility. Combining both analogue equipment and state of the art equipment we strongly believe music production is about sound and experience not hardware and software. After originally starting Verticalrooms at another location in 1993 we moved in 2000 to our own purpose built music production facility near Cambridge in the UK.
Pete Brazier our owner has worked as a professional writer producer for over 20 years, initially serving his apprenticeship with David Arnold before landing a deal with Simon Cowell and then building the Verticalrooms facility. With a prolific musical output and a prestigious client base, he is able to bring real creative flair and a sound business sense to all projects he undertakes. Pete has been the driving force behind a number of successful signed music acts and has written, supported, mixed, programmed and remixed for some of the biggest names in contemporary music.

Peter F Brazier aka Zombieboy
Pete has written, produced, supported, mixed, programmed and remixed for some of the biggest names in contempory music. The labels: Parlophone, E.M.I., Zomba, Jive, Pepper Records, Creative Entertainment Group, M.F.F, B.M.G, Verticalrecordings, Tenten Music Group, Zy records , London records and Warner Music. Philip Culbertson aka Phil Nasty
Phil has recorded and produced a huge selection of music since he started assisting at Verticalrooms 5 years ago after getting a B.A.Hons in Music Production at Anglia Ruskin.
As well as being a great producer and engineer Phil can bring a real sense of musicianship to any recording having studied vocal and guitar for 20 years, his ears are invaluble to any mix.
